How far in advance should I get in touch with you to plan a trip?
The answer to this question really varies based on the destination, length and complexity of the trip. In general, a 6-9 month lead time is ideal for an uncomplicated trip design. This allows us time to grab some of the coveted affordable air space, preferred room types at the top properties, and build out the nuanced details that make the trip flow perfectly at your desired pace.
For bucket list trips, a year or more is preferred, if not required. Think African Safaris, Private Jet Journeys, Northwest Passage Cruise, Coveted Golf Courses across the globe, Top New Zealand Lodges during High Season, etc. There is only so much space available and it sells out quickly! If there is a dream trip on your list, let me know as soon as you can so that we can map out what it will take to get there.
But if time is not on your side, I can make those last minute getaways work too. We might have to get creative, but finding fun travel solutions is a guilty pleasure. So never hesitate to reach out, even on those quick trips!
How much does it cost to work with you?
- Hotel Only Bookings: $30 per booking
- Quick Getaways (less than 5 nights): from $125*
- Custom Travel Designs (more than 5 nights): from $250*
- Air Research and Management:
- Domestic Air: $50 per ticket
- International Air: $100 per ticket
*Rates increase based on the number of travelers, trip length and complexity. For fully customized trips planned less than 2 months from travel, a higher *drop everything* fee may be assessed.

I am a trained professional with extensive experience and specialized knowledge; I’ve spent nearly a decade planning travel for some of the most discerning of clients. Just like you pay your interior designer, your accountant and your attorney for their professional services, you pay your travel advisor for their professional services. And more often than not, your planning fee comes back to you ten fold in the value add amenities included through my preferred relationships around the world.
